Q: How do you become the largest and fastest-growing
performance watercraft dealership in the Pacific NW?

HISTORY:
A life-long competitor, risk-taker and
outdoor enthusiast, owner Gunter Thoma started
Bridge City Watersports in 1998 with $5,000 in his pocket, 7
boats and an entrepreneur's dream. His goal
was
simple: To better serve Pacific NW boaters, and to
open up the boating world to everyone who ever dreamed
of owning a boat. Gunter was determined to take away the pretentious cruise wear and elitism, and focus on what all boating enthusiasts have in
common - the love of water. Generally, be nice.
That sounds obvious, but from Thoma's
previous years of experience in boat sales, it was a concept new
to the boating industry. And it was a concept the
public obviously appreciated. Within his first two years of operation,
Bridge City earned Malibu Boat's top Platinum award given to only
3 dealerships in the nation. His meager 7 boat startup inventory
has now grown to over 85 boat craft, making Bridge City Watersports the largest and
fastest-growing inboard dealership in Oregon.
